Hi! I’m Wellsley McDowell. And as the founder and lead stylist of Wardrobed by Wellsley (WbW), I’m passionate about helping others tell their story through style.

Navigating the journey of figuring out my own style was my catalyst for change. I was a quiet and inexpressive little girl, full of intellect, emotions and creativity - until I learned about the avenue of expressing myself through what I wore. Things like mixing prints and patterns, wearing quirky colors, doing projects with my aunt who is a seamstress, and changing my look multiple times a day based on how I felt became my outlets. I would go on through adolescence and early adulthood to mature these interests into skills and an expertise, study and research, and eventually help others do the same.

Things I dislike: Bugs, clutter, clothes that don’t fit well, and bright orange
